John Neff is CEO and CIO of Akre Capital Management. Previously, he worked for ten years at William Blair & Company in the firm’s equity research department, the last seven years as a senior analyst. John worked at First Chicago NBD Corporation from 1996 to 1999 after beginning his career in the securities industry at Merrill Lynch in 1994. John received his M.B.A. from the University of Chicago in 1999 and holds a B.A. in English from Colgate University.
